Christian and Eucharistic symbolism:
The central feature of the lace is the Chi-Rho, one of the oldest and most recognizable Christian symbols. Formed by the Greek letters Chi (Χ) and Rho (Ρ), the first letters of the Greek word “Christós”, it represents Christ and has been used as an expression of Christian faith since the earliest centuries of Christianity.
On either side of the Chi-Rho are elegant ears of wheat embroidered in gold. Wheat carries profound Eucharistic meaning, recalling the bread that becomes the Body of Christ during the celebration of the Eucharist. The combination of the Chi-Rho and wheat therefore creates a particularly meaningful decoration for the altar.
The decorative lace measures 18 cm wide and combines these gold embroidered motifs with an elaborate white openwork design. Its ornamental shapes add visual lightness and richness, while the contrast between the white fabric and gold embroidery creates an elegant and solemn finish.

Made from 100% polyester with a weight of 200 g/m², this altar cloth offers an elegant drape and excellent durability for regular liturgical use. The fabric also provides good resistance to water and stains, making it practical and easy to maintain.
The decorative lace is applied to the 3 visible sides of the altar, creating a balanced and carefully finished appearance from different viewpoints within the sanctuary.

Each altar cloth is made to order according to the exact dimensions of your altar, allowing it to be adapted to churches, parishes, chapels and other liturgical spaces. The maximum available size is 4.5 m x 1.3 m.
